MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international inroads into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won a Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for the year 2017. His debut album was a long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. This album peaked at 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, which was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina in the following year. Later, in 2021, the singer sang a duet 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician born in a musical home. His parents and brothers were both musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music was a necessity. As a child was in school, he took guitar as well as the saxophone. While his initial career choice was becoming a vet, his brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in lessons in singing with a Cuban instructor and as a outcome of discovering his talents as a singer altered the direction of his life.
