Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actor, known for her performances in the movies Beta Saajan and the film Hum Aapke Hing Koun..! She began her career in the 80s before coming to fame with her appearance in Tezaab, a film where she appeared alongside famous actor Anil Kapoor. She next appeared in the film Dil in which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. In Mumbai where she grew up, she was within a middle class family parents. At a very young stage, she was able to study dance. In her teens actress, she began performing and struggled for years due to the fact that her films at first were unsuccessful. They gained fame, and soon she was one of India's top movie actresses. Following her marriage, she took one year off but returned to her profession. In recent times, she was an important player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit has been nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these the awards she's won 8. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. She is well-known for her involvement in social work too.
